On April 2, 2025, China Business Law Journal announced its "Deals of the Year 2024", which highlights the case "Dreame, Roborock patent dispute" advised by Lifang.

Roborock is a renowned technology company that specializes in designing robot vaccums and other smart appliances.  Lifang represented Roborock in several patent infringement lawsuits against Dreame before Beijing IP Court and Tianjin 3rd Intermediate Court.  We also represented Roborock in multiple patent invalidation cases initiated by Dreame against the disputed patent.  Additionally, we provided legal solutions on the relevant patent infringement disputes in Europe.  Furthermore, we successfully assisted Roborock in persuading the Ningbo Court to reject the application for pre-litigation preservation filed by Dreame. Through our in-depth research and professional representation, we have secured a favorable position for our client in both the patent invalidation and patent infringement proceedings, and finally, both parties reached a settlement.

Given that both parties are leading enterprises in the smart sweeping robot industry, this case is one of the most influential patent litigations in the sector.
