Areas of Practice Mr. Liu specializes in all kinds of Intellectual Property Litigation, Capital Investment, Financing, Foreign Investment, and International Trade.
Work Experience
Mr. Liu was one of the founding partners of Lifang & Partners. He previously worked at the Policy and Legislation Division of the Ministry of Chemical Industry from 1990 to 1998, where he participated in the drafting of several administrative regulations and in industry law enforcement and public awareness programmes; planned and participated in pilot IPR property protection projects; participated in study on GATT counter-measures; advised on countermeasures in Sino-US and Sino-Europe intellectual property negotiations, antidumping investigations and stock holding reforms; and took charge of the administrative protection and preliminary review of foreign agrochemicals in China.
Education
Mr. Liu holds an LLM from the Law School of Peking University, and an LLB in Economics Law from Peking University. He attended an EU sponsored special training program in the European Patent Office in 1993 and an intellectual property training programme in the US in 1998.
Qualifications
Mr. Liu became a China licensed lawyer in 1994 and began practicing as an attorney in 1998
